[Closed] UD vs Woven CF for rigid forks

Need some rigid forks for my MTB for a trek coming up (nothing gnarly apart from the altitude, so I thought I'd save my lockout and a kilo or so).

Noticed that carbon fork stanchions are made from either woven or uni-directional carbon fibre. What's the practical difference in use?

What you can see on the outside is purely a cosmetic layer. So choose whichever you prefer.
