Anyone have any good suggestions for some new 26" winter tyres..

I'm 6'3 and 17 stone ride a Orange G3-S and struggle to get grip on the current tyres I have..

Due to my cakey, I think dual ply is best, unless anyone else has some ideas?!?!

Mud x or panaracer cedric soft condition were the top ones

Swampthings for me... Draggy, but I'll take drag over the random traction of a Mud X on anything that isn't just mud or hardpack. Swampy isn't as outright grippy as a regular tyre, but it's consistent and predictable and works reasomably well on all surfaces.

Mud X does well on the rear though but on the front i'd take a sensible knobbly- Minion or Nevegal or similiar- over it any day, the tradeoff of grip in mud is worthwhile for the improvement everywhere else.
