What's the best thing to clean the inside of my tyre with before I try tubelessing it?
I don't normally bother but this one seems to have quite a lot of mould release agent on it.
Soapy water probably!
I've got a feeling someone mentioned isopropyl alcohol, but I might have made that up...
If it is the thing to use, where do you get it?
IPA. Some chemists sell it, online or even Maplins.
Normally get my IPA from the off licence.. ๐
eBay, or Maplin if you're in a hurryIf it is the thing to use, where do you get it?
Ta, I will try a chemist first!
I have never cleaned the inside of a tyre before ghetto'ing it and I haven't died yet lol
me neither, just seems this one is covered in the stuff, so I thought I'd take some drastic action...
doh, double post!!
Aerosol disc brake cleaner here
Hot soapy water and a scouring pad.
The same soapy water I use to seat the tyre.
SOAPY WATER? Jeeze.
