So after about a decade my old Northwave Goretex winter boots are fairly knackered.
My only issue (mine not the boots) was as I have ankles that are sparrow thin and water used to get in and slop about..
so what recommendations for decent winter boots that can be closed up very narrowly around the ankles..

I've just got the ones from Charlie - 45NRTH road version.
Yet to try them in anger but they have been lovely on the trainer breaking them in so far.
Double neoprene cuff is very well thought out.
