[Closed] Tyre buying..... why so many?

I need to buy new tyres for some new wheels to go on my Pitch. Ive not bought tyres for a while and I cant quite believe how difficult it is. There are so many types. 60A, 62A, exo, exo kevlar, pacestar, trailstar, snakeskin evo, supertacky, dual ply, tubeless ready... I can remember going into my LBS and buying Farmer Giles nephews tyres for my bike once upon a time. I dont even think I had a choice of tyre, it was that or halfords own.

All I want is 2 tyres for all round all mountain use. Reasonably light, not dual ply, not £45 quid each and I dont want to have to hold a BSc in chemical engineering to understand what compound I need.

I need help......
