I seem to have accidentally entered the E23 enduro this weekend. I’ve not raced for years. How hard can it be? Anyone else heading up to Inners in the same boat? 🤪

@lister it’s Monty’s fault.

I saw a list of the trails they plan on using the other day.
From what I remember there was nothing of any difficulty on there.

@hot_fiat well he is a terrible...

Don't forget to breathe and don't crash on the first corner. There, I've helped!

Yup, a load of strangely short stages but nothing hard

Also: make sure you get a decent sleep on a nice calm, dry night. Make sure your tent is well away from any big flappy marquees.

Not doing it but did the glentress stages yesterday when I was down. Nothing too dramatic. Be a couple of big days though. I probably wouldn’t manage on one battery.

It's a travesty! They're starting the Thunderstruck stage AFTER the bottomless puddles!

You'd need lifeguards and scuba divers in addition to the normal marshalls.

kinda get the feeling the course is to test the ability of the batteries more than the riders

We survived day1. Did 6 stages before the battery died. I’m SLOW.

Saw a Facebook post this morning about one of the attendees having their bike stolen from their bike rack at a campsite last night

Pics showed a rack on the back of a pickup and a thin security cable the thieves had probably cut silently in seconds🫣
