Thinking of setting my daughters' bike up tubeless.
Currently has Shraeder(?) valves with removable cores so thinking I could just pop some sealant into the inner tube..
Or would a tubeless valve work on a larger Shraeder valve hole? Then I could tape the rim etc.
You can get schaeder tubeless valves - Stans do them.
Makes initial inflation a lot easier tbh as they accept so much more air flow.
I wouldn't stans the tube, tbh - I've never had any luck with that.
Go ghetto. I've found wire beaded or cheaper tires a bit baggy on rims so ghetto has been the best solution.
I recently did this on a mates bike and used these valves linked below. You need to be careful though as they are quite short and may not stick out of the rim far enough for some pumps. I couldn't really find many alternatives and they just about stick out enough on my mates rims.
