Got some Jo's Not Flats and not sure if i need the rim strip under the rubber liner or not

If its the rubber strip to convert non-tubeless rims I didn't use rim tape when I did mine and they lasted the winter (are in the shed now as I now have tubeless rims)

I use tape with no liner
Edit - On normal mavic rims that I believe are UST compatible

on normal non-ust rims - tried the last set and got fail so time for another go
