I have had the rear tire on for about 10 months now and just of late it keeps going down, not totally flat so tomo im going to check for thorns and stuff but does sealant need to be replace or topped up at some point, still a bit of life left on the tread so I didn't really want to fit a new tire just yet
Sealant needs to be replaced every few months, remove the valve core or just pop the bead using a tyre lever and inject 80-100ml for a large 2.3/2.4 tyre
do I need to put it up quite hard for a bit then let pressure out to the desired pressure?
thanks

Nah, the best way to get the sealant all around the inside of the tyre is to ride it for a few minutes after you inject the sealant, centrifugal force will aid the sealant to plug any small cuts/thorns etc.
If you inject the sealant and pump the tyre up then leave it sitting the sealant will just sit at the bottom of the tyre - gravity n' all that. ๐
nice 1 thanks for your help
