My lovely new Aero light disk wheels turned up today and for now I'd just like to use them with normal road clinchers and tubes. The wheels came with the tubeless tape fitted. Do I remove the tape in this case or fit the tyres and tubes with the tape in place and push the valve through the tape?

As above, I just stuck tubes in my 4 season discs. Still not taken the leap to tubeless

Think mine still have the tubeless tape - just with tubes fitted - thectyres I had aren’t tubeless compatible so I’m waiting until they are knackered then I’ll go tubeless.

As long as you’re not totally cack handed getting your tyres on and off the tape will be fine. I managed to mangle the tape on another set of wheels but I was being particularly undextrous that day
