Seem to have a different post mount size on old forks to newer disk brakes. something like 68mm against 74mm, can you get an adapter for this? ideally today in brighton as my mates bike is in pieces on the drive at the moment!

Nope. It's a redundant size. I had tis issue a couple of years ago. Sorry.

OK cheers, looks like he needs a fork upgrade too. that disc upgrade is starting to look a bit spendy.
Hope did an IS conversion for those called HBIS 10, but required a plus 10mm disc if I remember right, got one in the spares box in the shop, pretty sure it's what you'd need,and Hope should do you a custom disc.
