Any good?
Are they GXP bottom bracket only or shimano compatible?

Yep, they're nice. GXP or Hope with an adaptor though.

Mine are fine- not especially light either mind, they're a little heavier than my XTRs. And yep, bloody stupid BB.

Well they've got to be lighter than a square taper deore one!

But an eBay special for 60 quid is worth a bit of a gamble...

So what BB to order then?

Sub £30 GXP one?

Or £75 hope Steel one plus hope adapters?

AAAAAAAAAAAND

Chainring for 1x10.

Hope, middleburn or renthal?

Or a.n.other?

Mine is on a bike that won't get ridden that much, so it's got Truvativ in. If you ride it regularily, that's madness, get a Hope, it'll pay for itself. Not sure if there's any third ways- you can't fit the Hope adaptors into a Shimano BB, frinstance.

Chainring- doesn't really matter, they're much of a muchness. Get one you like the look of 😉 I like E13 and Renthal but that's just one of those bollocksy uninformed purchasing decisions you make based on nothing at all.
