I suppose if I had to buy a new crank, shifter, chain device and front mech, £460 might not seem that far off the money (eek). But jesus, half a grand for the front half your drivetrain? Most of my shifting woes come from the back end anyway.
wow, are they really that expensive 😡
i guess if you think about it, its not that bad.
XTR is 350 now-a-days
E13 DRS is 110.
so thats 460 before you've brought the front mech and shifter, so its not that bad
are they available in uk yet
That price is off the Jenson USA site, so they'll probably be even more when they come out over here. They're based on the Holzfeller, apparently, which is good but not XTR...
You'll also need...
* Hammerschmidt BB is not included. Sold seperately.
* Requires a SRAM Hammerschmidt-specific front shifter. Sold seperately.
you could import a diamond back mission for £1800.00 pounds £100.00 shipping & taxes .
take of the hammer & flog the frame on mtbr & the rest on here wouldn.t cost you half that.
I'd give it one season! (given the current British weather trend of mixed seasoning I'm afraid I cannot be more specific)
retail on just the crankset is just under £600 at the moment :/
Hahahahaha
nuts, rigid SS's anyone.
I'm with MrNutt - just cannot see them being anything but trouble in our muddy conditions. And factor into the cost having it serviced every month
How to make a product still born, price it up there...
so you don't work for SRAM then sq225917?
😉
