What would you do?
I'd quite like a Alfine 11, but the mega will need a tensioner (not sure if it have the right dropouts either)
Would I regret the hardtail if I entered the mega next yr or increased the time spent on the uplift?

isn't the troof just a box of the wrong tubes at the moment?

I'd decide first whether I wanted a hardtail or full suss. Can't make that decision for you. Then I'd look at alternatives to the Troof and the Mega.
