Just considering buying a second hand trials bike. I have spare disc brakes knocking about so not bothered about it coming with rim brakes.

But how do you size a trials bike?

I have zero trials experience! What do I want to do on it. No idea. Hop about!!

I am 185cm tall and think I'd go with a 20" wheels size.

They don't really come in sizes, mainly kids and adults. For instance you'd go for a Jitsie Varial 1010.

A 20" bike will feel quite small for someone your height esp if used to a LLS MTB. A 26" trial bike would feel a little more familiar.

Ah, thanks, was looking at a 1000mm wheel base, 20".

The 26" wheel ones look odd to me but that is only based on watching on telly.

Perhaps it would make more sense if I should get along to Lee quarry the next time an event is on.
