I've lost my retrobike login and thought on here might be quicker!

Thinking my next wall mount retro tat project is a Trek Y-11. But I need to get the rear triangle off.

Anyone know how they come apart? I've taken the bolts out - there's some kind of axle and it's a bushing. Do i just wallop it out with suitable sized drift? Or does it need to be pressed out or something.

I'll admit I've tried giving it a whack and not really moved anything 😬

Pic cos attention whore

Go for a ride on it and soon enough it'll part company!  😉

Umm... I think it needs a drift. I also seem to remember that they were a **** to remove even when they were relatively new, God knows what it'll be like at 20-odd years old!

...and the answer was indeed to **** it harder. Got the Big Hammer out and went for it. Thanks @crazy-legs.
