Im trying to remove the rear shock from my 2019 Fuel ex - it seems determined it wont come out of the lower linkage. The bolts are out but can i buggery get it out of the lower linkage. Anyone had similar issues and figured it out?

Undo the bolt on the main pivot, it will take tension out of the rocker. If uses same style as my Top Fuel of similar vintage

Ah bugger, that means removing the crankset to get to the main pivot bolt...and somehow the cover that the self extracting bolt pushes against has gone missing....

Shouldn't need to remove crankset to get at pivot, unless yours is a 2020 model with the shock direct to frame, loosening it is not going to make any difference I am afraid. May just be a really tight interference fit..
