So i used to use Wiggle/CRC own brand cleaners and lubes and got on well with them, think they were called Mobi

Anyway as Wiggle/CRC are no more (well CRC are kinda still around but not like they were) i was taking a look on Tredz (aka Halfords) website and they now do their own range of bike cleaners, £4 for 1 litre, 5 litre concentrated cleaner for £10 , disc brake cleaner etc... all at resonable prices

Anyone been using them and how are they?

similiar price but makes 10L, although i reckon i make 7-8L   many reviews

I bought some TFR the other day in a rush. When it arrived i discovered id bought the one with &wax. So that clearly can't go near the disc brakes. Damn my stupidity.

I've often used car wash'n'wax type products and never noticed any detrimental effect?

And I switched to muck-off this winter because I had several bottles in the garage that people bought me as stocking fillers and now my Dura-Ace calipers (rim brake) are sticking which I'm not sure is coincidence.

I'm sure generic car wash shampoo is actually the best option for bikes, and keep the degreaser to a minimum by spraying it onto a brush before scrubbing the cassette.

All MucOff stuff is garbage. Well, apart from their MO94 GT85 equivalent. Everything else is nonsense, particularly their lubes.

Tredz = Halfords, so ask yourself if you'd buy halfords bike wash.

I wouldn't buy any bike wash, I don't think it's necessary, but I don't see any innate problem with Halfords products - if you were inferring this is?

OP - look at Weldtite TF2 All Weather lube as a general purpose option for cheaps. It's really good.

They do bike cleaners as well, but I've not tried those obvs.

I wasn't.

Muc-Off; great marketing, shit product. They don’t even make their pink cleaner themselves ffs.

Their lubes are particularly shit.
