[Closed] Travel reduction on classic 2001 Marzocchi Z1

Hi folks,

got this classic coil forks and just fitting them to a new frame which needs them at 100mm rather than 130mm.

However I can't find instructions to reduce the anywhere - has anyone done it? Will I need to cut the springs?

Any advice/links appreciated 🙂

Iirc te "extension kit" comprised 2 longer main springs and 2 shorter top out springs - so youll need longer top out springs and shorter main springs.
