Does anyone know of any travel insurance companies who will also cover your bike while away?

I've tried Dogtag and they won't increase the maximum single item limit and i'm waiting for a call back from Snowcard - any others?

Check your contents insurance - some of them cover the bikes away from home as well, especially if you get the add-on cover. A couple of years back, I phoned M&S to check the away from home policy, and was told it covered pretty much everything, including damage in transit - it may have changed by now, but it's worth checking with your insurer.

I am with M&S and I had to pay for the premium cover that covers any of my belongings away from home, including overseas. It even covers things in my car. It is not expensive and means I save money when I book travel insurance as I don't have to get property insurance cover.

M&S cover any single item up to £4000 without it being named on the policy.

Just had a call back from Snowcard and they'll increase the max single item amount to cover the bike for about 20-odd quid extra, so not too bad really.
