I need a definitive answer if possible please!

I will be training mid week on either rollers or turbo - commitments with children and work don't allow me to get out on a week night.

I am training to improve fitness, help lose some weight and as i improve will be looking to develop power etc. I will be looking at doing 111 miles in a sportive in April.

What is my best training option? Rollers or Turbo? I am thinking half hour to 1 hour sessions max as i figure even half an hour is better than not at all.

I am quite knowledgeable about training just not on which bit of kit.

rollers are good for riding posture and balance and turbo is easier to switch off and put down the power... a good balance id say for the best option

turbo doesnt put out power propped up against the wall either .... it has its place yes but its incredibly shit boring even with sufferfests ....

rollers at least provide stimulation of the mind !
