Might be nipping over for a week to Port Grimaud, inbetween St Tropez and St Maxime

Are there any trail around there?

Failing that anyone know of any French maps or websites where I can find out?

I believe our resident Gauloise-puffing, pastis-sipping Frenchman Juan is from that part of the world. He may be too busy eating cheese and surrendering to answer though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

French maps are often a bit rubbish, to be honest.

A quick google for VTT (French for MTB) and St Tropez gives this - http://www.presquile-saint-tropez.com/html/randonnees.html

Helpful bike shop in Cogolin - up the road from Port Grimaud. 18 months back they had a Brit' working there as a mechanic (with a MTB bias); they hired me out a very nice road bike for a day. I flew over the area from Cogolin in a helicopter a number of times and the network of trails & tracks over the hills looked great - but I never got to ride them....

There might be some useful info here - scroll down to the mtb section:

The local ski resorts have bubble lifts in operation for mtb in the summer, eg here is the piste map for VTT routes in Auron:

I went to Isola 2000 a couple of times this summer, we hired bikes and went up in a bubble lift (my profile pic!), down via the VTT routes - it was great although I had a bad crash at the bottom ๐Ÿ™
