Better half and youngling are off to Blackpool at the weekend. Thinking about driving them up and having a decent ride somewhere near Blackpool.
Are there any decent trail centres/easy to navigate yet awesome riding to be had nearby?

Not much awesome riding locally, Gisburn is probably your nearest trail centre.

Think you'd be better off joining them on the pleasure beach.
Or the Lakes?

I live in Blackpool. There's no riding!

Gisburn just over an hour away, as is Lee quarry. Healy nab/Rivi is about 40 mins. there's a gentle xc route out of chipping, 40 mins. Staveley is an hour for garburn/kentmere loop.

If this is the only time you get up this way and don't get to ride the lakes very often, it could be a good opportunity. With driving, garburn loop can be done in 4-5 hrs, nan bield could be done in 6-8.
