Well old bike with 120 OLN. That can't be right can it?
tacx Sirius
What's OLN?
If its 120 between drop outs then whats the problem? Just perhaps need some of those special chamfered nuts to put a fixie on the turbo trainer?
Or elaborate a bit more on the problem??
you need to get a special track nut for it to fit
i think this is it http://www.evanscycles.com/products/tacx/axle-nuts-3-8-x-1-ec042693?
Oln is over lock nut
Basically the width of the frame is Ment to fit into
my langster did ( and tat was 120oln )
Expensive nuts?
That must be what I need to make the axle wide enough to fit, ta.
Just tested my Poyner in the tacx sartori. It is close and i had to unwind the drive side right out to the max -about 2.5", but it does fit. Not clamped anywhere near as tightly as the road bike, but it will fit without the tacx locknuts.
Actually 120mm for a track bike is right.
Before things got 'interesting' in the the world of MTBs the standards were 120, 130 and 135 for Track, Road and Mountain bike/Touring respectively.
oln ,over lock nuts .what real cyclist doesnt know that?
23 years of biking and I've never felt like my life was any the worse for not knowing what OLN stood for ๐
