My friend thinks there is a new trail centre in south Wales, is he right? Not Cwmcarn or Afan or Gethin woods.

Garw trail, not a "centre" though, but pretty nice, technical trail.

Know some people who cycle there regularly and there's some good unofficial stuff too, albeit quite technical by all accounts.

Rode it today. Only 6km in total but the black level trail is up there with any of the other black trails I have rode.
Front of the seat climbing, gnarly rock gardens and big flowing berms.
Not worth a trip on its own but I believe Afan is just over the hill.

Nice loop available from there to Afan, and also some good hidden local gems, technical downhills,

Oh this is my local trail by the way, so kinda lucky I guess

I haven't no, tend to just follow the trail i was shown however I know a man who may, I'll speak to him in the week and get details,

Oh and if you are in the area, check out Rush Cycles in Brynmenin, (it's on the way) great bike shop with top local knowledge (Colin) and also has a coffee shop with proper homemade cake

It does look pretty good - especially on a sunny day like that one was ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for the heads up.

I would be interested in a GPX too. I have mapped something on bridleways from Glyncorrwg and it is about 7 miles. Not sure how to link this up with any of the trails though without making it an a massive all day epic though, so interested to hear what others have done/planned.

Looks a nice bit of trail (although to me it seems more like a good red rather than black, unless the camera is flattening things a lot)

This is a good descent in the area. It actually goes on a bit further than the segment suggests
