Has anyone been touring in Istria, Croatia?
We're planning a pootle round there in August with our 18 month old son in his Chariot trailer.
We've never toured before, and are planning short days of 30-50km, with lots of pootling and chilling. We're planning to camp.
We're after some racks and panniers. And they need to be sturdy but not Ortileb prices! DOes anyone have any recomendations? It seems wiggle are no longer doing the dhb rear panniers. Are the Altura ones good? Decathlon?

Hey decathlon had some good ones for about 39€ IIRC.
I am using PRO pannier. They are dirt cheap. Not the best piece of ingenniering
in the world but they do the job.
Topeak have some nice stuff. But if you could strech a little bit I would go for some carradice ones. They were no available when I was looking fro some but they are apparently dead good.

we used 2 sets of altura orkney 56 for our 3 month trip- they worked well
i also have in the past used (and still have) a set of altura arran 46 for shorter trips
