I searched but couldn't see a thread on this yet. Who is off to Belgium next weekend? What distance are you signed up for?

I've signed up for the middle distance which should hurt a bit as I hadn't ridden my bike in 2016 until a week ago.

I'll be watching the race from the comfort of my sofa with a big bowl of mussels, frites and beer.

Did the middle distance last year.
Great event and atmosphere!
The food stops are brilliant and massive!
People will be chearing you on up the hills.
Distance felt less as I was so enjoying the atmosphere!
You will have a great time!
Max

Meh, probably!?

Did the 127Km distance last year, which was good fun, the cobbles are "interesting" in teh wet though!

Yep, giving it a go again on the 129. It's great fun although the chaos on the big cobbled comes does take the edge off a bit. Planning on a very early start to see if that helps but I'm not sure it does.

Still looking forward to it and the next day is brilliant. Looking forward to the big screen, kwaremount beer and frites again ๐Ÿ™‚

Hmmm this is the third cycling trip to Europe in six months that I may miss due to work (I must be the cycling holidays ideal customer - book and can't make it!!). I might have a spare place with PedalActive.

Very pissed off cycling wise. Pretty happy for the business!

Our club have rented a farmhouse for the weekend. So it's the 130k on Saturday, and watching the race with beer and frites on the Sunday.

I'm looking forward to it!

Anyone who's done the middle distance a number of times have a recommended time to start or are the climbs always rammed? I tried looking through the videos from last year for a quiet point and there didn't seem to be any

Tony - no email in your profile. If it looks like your plans might go wonky, I'd be interested in whether we can work out something.
