I'm thinking of riding the Tour of Ben Nevis tomorrow or Friday but as it's stalking season, I'm not sure whether the route would clash with stalking.
This is the route I'm following:
https://gpsrouteshub.com/mountain-biking/ben-nevis-mtb-loop/
This is the stalking info, it seems that only the hills themselves are affected and the route I'm following seems to go around the hills.
Anyone able to help decipher the info and help me out as I'm not very clued up on these things.
In 65 years of gallivanting around the Highlands I have only once been requested to take a small detour to avoid a stalk. That's equal to the number of times I've been asked to "wait for a minute" as they were shooting a James Bond movie.
So..... I should risk it?
I'm local......just get on with it.
Stalkers generally go out at dawn or dusk and the deer are still quite high on the hill due to the good weather
Similar to scotroutes, particularly when sticking to known tracks and routes.
But with less Bond.
Fantastic news, thanks everyone.
Excellent.
Rode Laggan on my way home today.

For some reason after your initial post I had this vague idea in my head all day that you were going to ride it while wearing a Dom Jolly reindeer suit. So I'm glad to hear you made it round ok.
