I laughed when Millar said that on the descent there'll hardly touch the brakes....it's easy....

I've done that descent - it's mentally quick...the top part at least!

But woh....I did use my brakes!

😆

what was the spat between Bardet and Uran about, a bit of post race disappointment from Bardet hyped by the media or valid?

Bardet was irritated that Uran sat on the wheel all day and popped up to take the bonus seconds. AG2R's manager said that Uran was smart and understood how to save energy. Make of that what you will 🙂

I liked the interview with Uran

'are you going to attack tomorrow?'

'Why don't you ask Bardet'

Nicked his bonus seconds and then trolled him. Sets it up nicely today if they want to kick lumps out of each other as well as needing to try to take time off Froome. 3 way stripped to the waist fistfight if they can't settle it on the bikes.

My money's on Uran, looks like he could take the other two at the same time

I reckon Froome's arms are long enough he can jab them to a standstill before they get into the same departemente as him

Uran is fast turning into my favourite rider, last nights interview was top class.

TBH, Uran is definitely right place at the right time by riding intelligently. Nobody in their right minds believes that Cannondale could ride on the front and defend the jersey properly, they don't really have that sort of depth because they don't expect to be in that position. To beat Froome he's going to need to take a couple of minutes out of him today at least. Not sure he has that but I'd love to see him on the podium with Bardet and Froome (whatever the order) as it seems they're the best balanced (between aggression and sitting back) GC riders.
