How often (if at all) are these routes closed due to deer stalking? I'm thinking of going to ride them in mid august / september. The link below lists lots of nearby hills as potentially having access issues

Ive been walking and riding in the Scottish Highlands for 40 years. I've once been asked to make a small diversion to avoid a shoot. The estates know where all the main routes and throughways are and avoid them where possible.

Similar to scotroutes I have once been asked to take an alternative path to avoid shooters.  Other than that its not an issue generally.

I phoned the estate office with regard to stalking while planning a bothy trip to Maol Bhuidhe, I only got as far as saying where we were heading & was told, ‘ach, you’ll be fine’.

Probably better to make double sure by phoning though.
