That Chef's blowtorch you haven't used since the last time you made crème brûlée is very useful for burning the crap off contaminated rotors and pads that make every hard braking event sound like all of hell's banshees attacking at once.

Don't waste money on expensive back protection when downhill mountain biking, a pair of pound shop flip flops taped to your back are just as good and a fraction of the price!

Don't let the tiny black grommet for your internal cabling drop onto the back of your black and white dog who has decided to go to sleep next to your bike while you are working on it to show her dogvotion to cycling.
