b adjust screw wound as far as it will go and the jockey wheel is still catching any possible solutions ta

Untighten the bolt that attaches the mech to the mech hanger & see if it moves away from the cassette slightly.

Is it a medium or short cage rear mech? You often need a long cage mech for wider range cassettes.

Had a problem like this with an X4 mech. The b screw bears directly on the back of the hanger and a minor off can cause the screw to find a new 'home' in the soft alloy of the hanger making it difficult to put any tension on the b screw.

Not a problem with more expensive mechs they have a steel tab to protect the hanger.
