Meet up with Sharki for the first time in approx a year today and headed off to meet the get fit gang for a Qs ride. Dragged along two Qs newies and set off for a spot of Combe bashing. It wasnt the longest of rides but ok for a Saturday morning in the sun. Comments ?

Loving the big white arrow marker on the bank to point the route out of the stream. I hope it's still there the next time I go along there.

Nice to see Sharki back, and nice to see pics you've taken cycling the Qs again knottie.

Photobucket seems ok doesn't it (though the above pic just loads as a question mark for me - maybe just my computer) and look forward to seeing your account on there get filled up with biking photos! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was there last week riding with buzz-lightyear and snaps, it was my first proper ride at the Quantocks and there was some interesting trails there, I would like to see more of it again in the future, if anyone riding over there next month and I would like to come along.

Good to know Shane is back, Buzz showed us sharki & jambo's trail last week, can't believe I'd not ridden it despite riding past the start many times!
Paul - you off to the Somerset on the 16th?
Guy - I'll email you & Buzz next time I'm up there, might be next weekend or the one after (depends on work)
I was flying up there last week, cleaned all the climbs from the bottom of Smiths to Willyboys cleave ๐Ÿ˜†

Cheers Paul for the intro back on those hills.

So much to say about my first ride back up there..

After most of you left myself, Mark and Paul did Frog traverse, up towards the hill fort then cut right through the gorse and around the western side and back down to the top of ladies combe, we then dropped down to the road and down bincombe as the lads have never done it. We hauled ourselves back up the road along the gas line for one final asault down from the trig(no walkers were harmed).
I left the other two to go to there homes, it was only about 2:30 and i wasn't done yet so went back out to nail somerton and stert and pop in the plough for a well earned Guiness. Met some other riders in thereone of which oddly worked with oldfart in Whistler last summer.

Right then lets do this again, beware up there if you're about, the last three descents i did yesterday were possibly the fastest and fluidist i'd ridden them ever ๐Ÿ™‚

I make it ride o'clock and with a little rain over night i expect it to be lovely and tacky so the DH trails are getting a visit..

Laters.
