Been thinking about getting a Dremmel for some time now. The desire to run full length gear outers has crystalised things a bit, so I started looking. But there are so many different models and sets on offer that I'm confused.com. What has everyone else got, or suggestions as to which would be best please?

Dremmel are great. I have a black and decker clone that is fairly good too, and about half the price. all bits and discs are compatible.

how much are you really going to use it? I've got a aldi one (£8) and have extensivly used (at one point during my degree i was convinced i was going to graduate a bsc of rotary tool use!!) a b&q own brand and real dremels. They all eventually die, but the dremels last a bit longer - are made of higher quality materials an stuff.
