Are they pure Titanium or an alloy, if there is such a thing?

And will mine eventually snap due to fatigue/fat ass/overtightening like my last non-ti one, or are they stupidly strong?

Cheers

Pretty much all ti used on bikes are alloys. Ti is highly corrosion resistant so i wouldn't worry about them breaking. However they might bend and if that happens well it nigh on impossible to unbend them. But then again that can happen with any saddle.

Yes it'll be an alloy of Ti, no you won't know which one (it doesnt really matter) and yes they can and do snap, I've had it happen. It was when I accidentally unclipped on a downhill section and bounced my full weight on the saddle, sheared the right rail completely in half and then caught it in my peripheral vision as it flew past my head having caught up in the rear spokes. I've got it in a box somewhere in the garage. I could be so boring as to post photos lol. No evidence of bending oddly, its back with its other half perfectly. Flite Ti saddle IIRC.
