Whatever you want. I stuck to carbon in one frame and a Thompson in another

Not over and above the benefit of the Ti post on its own (if you see what I mean). But you do apparently need to watch out for cold-welding - put copperslip on the post to ensure it doesn't over time bond to the Ti of the seat tube.

Something like that, anyway

I've Ti posts in both my Ti frames, because I can and I'm worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

In my mind it extends the virtues of having a Ti frame in the first place

Edit: I just use a bit of grease and undo the seat collar and wiggle the seatpost every few months just to be sure. Not had any issues in some 6 years doing this.

If you use a carbon one, don't leave it in for 2 years and expect it ever to move again...

I've got a Ti seatpost in my Ti frame, both made by the same manufacturer.

It does look nice. ๐Ÿ™‚

Er, does nobody else have an Alu seat tube liner in their Ti frame? Only me?

My Ti frame has an aluminum insert in the seat tube about 4 inches long. So my seatpost will be in contact with aluminum, not Ti.

My seatpost is mostly aluminum though. They don't make dropper posts in Ti or carbon. ๐Ÿ˜€ At least not yet...
