Anyone else notice that as you get older alot of 'friends' are actually acquaintances rather than friends?
Depressing.
Bin them.
Maybe it's just you... maybe they've all just had their fill?
Chuckle. Whenever I get like that, for some reason my mind goes back to the old Richard Briers series, 'Ever Decreasing Circles'. Tragic in so many ways, but somehow stupidly funny.
No, not met.
Perhaps your friends could only take so much conversation about cars and sex.

I think the nature and definition of friendship changes as you get older. Since we've had kids we've lost touch with quite a few friends who don't have them or who are at different points in their life to where we are. Conversely we've met quite a few new people who have become friends through being at a similar stage. Some people find it difficult to accept that your life is heading in a different direction to theirs.
If they are genuine friends then you'll hook up again in the future when your paths converge.
No point in getting morbid about it, just how it is.

Should I talk to blokes about Football instead? ๐
yossarian, bang on. I was thinking along those lines.
