What are they called??! Despite googling and searching on here, I can't remember what they're called/where they're from.

Want one...

pretty disappointed with my ass-saver tbh. might as well get a proper mud guard which actually does something...

I've had to resort to one of these since I got a Reverb. It's nowhere near as effective as the crud guard on my winter (July) hack but it's better than nothing

Bucko - look at one of these, Of course, it will depend on the design of the bike and how the seatstays/swingarm is configured, but it works much better than any of those seatpost mounted fenders on my bike. I'm able to mount it close to the tire since the fender moves with the wheel.

There are two drawbacks, though. First, it takes a hex key and a couple minutes to mount. Second, its French...

If ur thinking that the ass saver is a complete mudgard, don't it's just there as an emergency wet crack stopper, i can live with mud splattered legs and back but there's nothing worse than a damp crack, it'll stop this. If u want full coverage get a full size guard like a crud catcher. The ass saver was designed for commuters who get caught out in the rain, i've just stretched the application.

Wet muddy chamois is what I want to avoid in races and the like. Does the ass saver get in the way when getting on or off compared with a crud guard say?
