You know the ones Wiggle are knocking out cheap. Is the rucksack a usable size, (jacket, packed lunch, spare gloves and a hat, you know the normal day out stuff) or is it just large enough for the bladder and tools that are supplied?

big enough for a minimalist all dayer (i have the older version that you can have for £20 with a bladder used once) Strap acme away in a crash so is now connected to the waist strap rather than the side of the pack its self

Yes they are a good size. I got the 3l size and plenty of stowage space. It is a bit heavy. but then that's because it is large and appears well made so far.
