Just wondered if anyone knows the details of Thomson warranty, specifically a seatpost
Bought mine ages ago and no idea where the receipt would be, but it has bent, never used anywhere near the minimum insertion point
Any point in contacting them or should I just chuck it out

Send them some photos and explain they may be generous they may tell you to f£ck off - it always worth a well worded email.

Thomson posts are designed to bend (they have a bending 'fuse'; see the Thomson website) rather than snap if overloaded - might mean you'll have a problem with getting a replacement on warranty.

What is a "bending fuse"?
