Meh, if I'm totally honest, the choice between working in corporateland and riding a trail centre would, for me, be a very close call.

But then I'm in a off-bike-fall-soreness-consequent-poor-sleep-induced grump today.

This morning I was riding one of the best trail centres in the world, it even had uplift. Slow start only managed 42km most of which was on incredible singletrack.

I'll be having a poo later. Sadly that may be the highlight of the day.

Push up to Carron Cragg and ride the PMBA Enduro stage to the top of the DH (if its still there and not been bulldozed). An ace trail...

I'm hoping its still present in October when we have a weekend there.

Expect an ever present bearing wobble to rapidly develop into something more significant. Whilst a fundamental transmission component will have a catastrophic failure on his first singletrack climb as gears get mashed whilst shifting down an entire cassette on one motion. The seeds of an early bath at the pub will already be germinating in his mind and I reckon he'll be sinking his first frothy pint of Nelson within an hour of setting off. I'll be disappointed if there isn't a filtered picture of his lager amongst a Greggs infused back-drop when I get back from my lunch. Not that i'm jealous or owt. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Is Hora going with him then ?

Well that was bloody great fun! And I managed to not just stay upright, but not break any of my bike. Just having a post ride pint in the sun!

Hope everyone's Monday is going well ๐Ÿ˜‰
