It was a spy shot from the Santa Cruz black-box dept a few years ago.
Might be a bit too much toe ovelap on that one for me 😆
I did that on a road bike when I was at school. Rode into skip (it was dark and raining). Front tyre was punctured by the chainwheel. Major bends in the frame and fork but the front wheel was fine.
The anti-slack-angles backlash has arrived.

My first DMR Switchback went that way. Shouldn't have been running rigid forks. The second has been good for 6 years now with 140mm forks.

I reckon he could run it as a 29er now.
Did he run into a badger? Nails they are.
Must've ridden into something immoveable at great speed to do that.
Also proves how nails the simple wheel is, when hit at the right angle.
