Im so glad the stw forum is here full of helpful people and some cool banter. I was after some new over shoes and planet x are having a showroom only sale this weekend and are offering them at a £5 a pair 😯 but as im stuck in Greenland for at least another 5-10 days, there was no hope i of me getting any, so i asked if anyone was going from here and Swampi offered to pick me some up (never meet the guy or emailed him before) so i wanna say a huge THANKS MAN for picking me 4 pairs up (not all for me) where would we be if it wasn't for the fact mountain bikers help each other out he didn't have to offer but he did thanks man.

I tell you what. There may be people here who live to argue, but it is quite wonderful to be with the 99% 🙂

a nice balance to the "this place isn't what it used to be" currently dominating the "5spot" thread. Chapeau to Swampi.

@mcboo im the marine environmental sciences guy on a site survey at mo accessing the what if any damage drilling up here has done to the local environment so far its looking good and the company that hired us has stuck to what they should do. The oil company thats up here also has spend millions up doing environmental research as hardly any study's have been done round here well over the top of what they where asked to do so more could be understood about the ecology of this place its amazing.

And again THANK YOU SWAMPI your a legend mate 😀
