the colnago isn't quite right, just something in the colour scheme fails. I think Athena would look better than Record? for a starter.

[img] [/img]

Not perfect, but i think the use of silver components suits the thinner steel tubes better than the carbon on the Colnago. Obviously the mud guards are a complete no no on a bike that is meant to look nice!

Firestarter: search for 'Chinarello', they're available from China from loads of sources. They'll even paint it like a Pina! There's plenty of photos around.

Always loved that distinctive turquoisey colour of Bianchi bikes.

[img] [/img]

The sort of bike I could see myself schooning round the back roads of Provence or Lake Garda on on a summer's day - if I was into that kind of thing.

Doesn't quite cut it so much cycling to work in the pishing rain though.

Mr Mo

I see you got the Croix de Ferre - I sent you some photos of mine a while back when you were thinking about it. Thats the only other bike that I have seen, bar my own one

Whatever any of you say, you all know, deep down, you'd kill for that bike.

roadies don't, as a rule.

you'd kill for that bike

i really wouldn't. it's quite vulgar, obviously designed by the same team that came up with this:

s'true though. but i've got quite old-school tastes.

i wear corduroy, and listen to radio4.

my opinion on matters of style counts for very little.

I'm sure those Chinarello's ride really nicely, but i wish people wouldn't stick those pina stickers on them - be proud of what you've got, not what you want (just my opinion though).

That Lynskey is gopping.

For me it has to be the Look 695. Absolutely stunning.

dunno, some custom-made crazy-light bike which is beautifully simple
I guess the shifters are a lot lighter than STI ones
