From the creator of the infamous Yorkshire Dales 300 comes to North York Moors 300

The North York Moors 300 ITT

Our first event was last years and well received by those who finished. Now in its second year with a few amendments to enhance the already epic route.

This gravel bike friendly route takes you through beautiful surroundings and trails you will remember for years to come. The terrain is quick under your wheels with a 50/50 split between road and off road but don't underestimate the 5300 meters of climbing.

Those that rode the event non stop last year took between 18 and 24 hrs. Those who enjoyed the weekend, arrived back at HQ Sunday afternoon.

Visit the North York Moors 300 Facebook page for info or the Eventbrite link where you can access the route download and other info.

So many events and rides. Not enough weekends hey. The NYM300 gets you a breakfast before you set off and a hot meal on your return and if you finish you get a commemorative woven badge. All for £25.

Cheers all.

Looks fab! Close enough to home, too.

I can heartily recommend this one, very good value for money, quite low key and very friendly. Food at the start and finish, everything in-between is whatever you can catch - kill cook or buy. I highly recommend a pint or two in the Horseshoe Inn at Levisham before pushing on into the night shift.
Just think Rosedale chimney bank under the moonlight 🌙
Just don't get drawn into the combined YD300 & NYM300 that way lies madness 🙂

I think I might try to get a pass agreed for this one ...

Gravel bike with 700x40/42 tyres? Or Ti HT (rigid fork) with fast 2.2 XC tyres? Am thinking the latter ...

Looks mega, nice one.

The cynic in me: if you gave it some hipster name like NRT YRK MRS 300 you could probably charge £100 for entry 😉

I’m hoping to have another go. Had a terrible start to the year with several viruses and colds etc though so not sure how the next month or two will pan out in preparation!

A mix of gravel bikes, hard tails and full suspension took part last year. I think the quickest was on a gravel bike but the full suspensions weren’t too far behind. There was lot of fast gravel but also some pretty rocky trails. Fast tyres are best.

If I had a short travel hardtail I’d probably pick that
