Very happy with a new purchase, after months of deliberating and last minute changes of mind I bit the bullet and got a new ride .I took my spanking new Whyte 901 out last night to get it nice and dirty.
For about 5 years now I've been riding a very heavy Norco hardtail which whilst utterly bombproof always felt like riding a monster truck in slow motion. I'm as thin as a rake and 6ft 2 so finally getting on something that matches my own wiry frame and climbs so much easier put a a big smile on my face.
Only went for a 90 minute trot around Nottingham taking in some woodlands and rocky bridleways but I haven't enjoyed a ride like that for years. Heading to the peaks for a bike/bivi on Saturday. Can't wait.
