It's free, it's fun, it's (hopefully) nice weather, it's a lovely part of the country, and it'll be a good chance to ride a relaxed 50 road miles surrounded by the cushioning of plenty of other riders!
I see this as a great opportunity for a Soft Southern Shandy Drinkers opportunity to 'train' (yeah right) for that (possibly) up coming 'battle against the north'...? Or just to drink loopy cider at the pub halfway round perhaps?
