If you weren’t coming across as a right arsehole with passive-aggressive language all over the place I might be inclined to apologise for mis-reading you, but you are so I’m not 🙂

So you were wrong then, I never said it was a scam..glad that's been cleared up..

I once found about $120 in cash whilst on a trip to the US. I spent some of it on a meal and I tipped the rest, about $60.

Your altruism knows no bounds..😂

On a side note..Still waiting for Molgrips to return with evidence that I claimed the go fund me was a scam…

My tenner is waiting..

If you're happy to cut the middle man, I'll setup a gfm that absolutely is a scam and you can donate a tenner to that?

How about "please help me retrieve Elon musk's car from space as I can't afford to buy my own"

Revive the thread

Apparently Giant provided a frame which was built up with the Go Fund Me money and it was stolen from his house 6 days ago.

Think he deserves another one?

So the GFM was created on the 19th, the frame was donated, arrived (plus all the parts), built up, and nicked by the 28th?

Does he own a 100% witch-skin hat as well?

£200 ‘cash prize’ if it’s found too, so worth keeping an eye out for it.

Did they start a GFM to raise the reward money? I can't keep track.

Anyone know the circumstances in which it was nicked?

Whilst there is no excuse for anybody stealing it, if it was securely locked up inside a house or garage, but was still taken, then that is a different thing compared to it being left outside unlocked in the back garden overnight and taken - for example....

Well that's unfortunate.

Hopefully there's some home and contents insurance that can be called upon.

FRO - for race only.
c.2010 as it has G3 dropouts. Its a miracle it was still alive past 2011 tbh.

He's either really unlucky or really dumb and left it unlocked.

My initial thought was one of his 'mates' was keeping up with events and decided to help himself to it.

I note in the last week or so the original subject of this thread has benefited to some £30. So we can take it that everyone here is working on general principles only. If you want to contribute do so, otherwise....

Definitely difficult not to be at least a little cynical when you look at that timeline

could well be that someone less than desirable who is a friend* from school has suddenly clocked how much bikes are worth based on the fundraiser.

*lets be honest, every teenager has pretty much everyone in their year group on their friends/followers/contact lists these days, whether they like the person or not.
