At the weekend I was trying out a new rear tyre (Geax sugaro or how ever you spell it) and it rolls pretty nicely, even grips quite good for a fast rolling "dry" tyre.

But I was surprised at the effect it had on the fast twisty downhills.

The bike was noticeably affected in that it was slower in the "turn ins" and I went off the side of the trail a couple of times. I normally ride minions/ high rollers/ advantage and I realise this tyre does not have the cornering ability but I was taken unawares of how it effected the turn in and responsiveness on high speed twisty stuff.

Anyone else had a similar effect?

Think it is more of a dry weather tyre, will be getting some for the 100, use the Loco Lobo on mine TNT which is a bomb proof heavy tyre.

Only a noticable effect on turning from running 2.3's then going to 1.8's.
