So if you see a brown and white spaniel with floppy ears call Toby tomorrow on his own he is lost. The guy was looking for him up by where the uplift van stopps and around the top of the downhill runs and the verdeerers trail.Very sad to lose your dog. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Theendisnigh I'm not judging you ! If something was so precious to me I would keep it close. I did mention I hope it's found. Considering I live in the FoD I will be on the look out tomorrow for my morning walk.

Yes thanks did 2 bits of the verdeerers the other way around fancied doing them for ages as there was no one around at the time.Did couple of D/h runs.Only stayed in Worcester lodge area.Verdeerers is in good nick. The natural stuff is yuk.Mind those floods between Longford and Over roundabout look serious.Half way around the verdeerers is been totally felled looks really weird good views though.Never seen the car park so empty ๐Ÿ˜€

I lost one of mine today in local woods, cue entire extended family searching for dog with doggy dementia who occasionally goes on the bend and dissapears for hours. Soaked and fed up an hour later he wonders out of the woods towards me and isn't even slightly bothered, little git!

We found a lost dog up at Drumlanrig last year. The other half stayed with the dog and I went on and found the owner nearer the car park. Very rewarding to reunite the two. Fingers crossed similar happens here.

A riding buddy once spent over an hour riding around our local woods in the dark looking for his dog, he eventually gave up and went home to find the dog sitting on the doorstep. Also lost a young Dougie in CYB when some muppet sharing the bunkhouse left the door open - cue a dozen people in pitch black shouting his name, and worriedly searching for the poor lost little doggie. 20mins later, he wandered in quite happily of his own accord. Sometimes there's a happy ending.

Should have been on a lead

Unusual for a Spaniel to wander that far from their owner, and to also loose their 'trail'.
